Today I was given information about a day conference about leadership by two different people. There are a number of things that I am excited about having the chance to go to this conference. The first reason is that it is very specific to the plans I feel God has in store for me, the second is that there are a few people I know interested in going too and finally the people who are leading the weekend are some of the first people I talked to about following these plans.
This conference is a little while in the future but it is something that needs to be planned well in advance due to the distance to travel meaning we will need to arrange a place to stay and will need to work out the best and hopefully cheapest way to get there.
In addition to this the I heard back today regarding one of the application forms I have completed for plans in the future. There is a little few things I need to do to complete this part of the application and then I will find oput how this is going to progress in the future with everything that is going to be going on in my life over the next 12 to 18 months.
Altogether I have had a good day where things seem to have moved along quite nicely and in the direction I feel they should be going. I know that it will not all go smooth, I know that there will be many rough patches and possible battles ahead, but today things are good and I want to thank God for that and enjoy it while it lasts.
