Well when I first began this series of tasks I was worried that it was going to be very difficult to fit them into my life and that it would fizzle out due to lack of time. However so far every single task has worked in amazingly well. I am hoping this is a signal of some help from above in completing this challenge. However talking about it being easy so far, I do know I have 99 more weeks ahead of me.
But this week things fell into place very easily, the selection of this task matched up with the linked Bible post this month. This Bible study just happened to be on Jude, the whole of Jude. Thus the New Testament book I read was Jude. I could write about it here but if you follow the link you can find out my thoughts on this book there.
So for next weeks challenge, well this week I am not drawing it out of the hat. This weekend I am attending a Congress and so I am choosing to use that as my task this week. I did agonise about this about if I should leave it to God to determine when I complete each task. However I had made the decision when I first decided to do it to complete any specific tasks as and when they were possible and complete the rest as they were drawn out of the hat. I see no reason not to follow this original plan.
Next weeks challenge is - Attend a Divisional/Territorial Meeting or Congress.
If you are wanting to follow my progress from week to week check back every Sunday of click on the Soldier's Challenge tab. The link for every completed challenge is on there and the list of upcoming challenges is there also.
My thoughts, feelings and ideas as I work through the Bible and build my life on God's foundations.
Intro
This blog is supposed to be, as much as I can, my daily journey through life as a Christian. I hope it to be my thoughts and feelings on life but be as grounded in the Christian message as it can. My intention is not to create a daily readings or bible study guide but to look at my life in terms of a Christian trying to find and follow God's mission using his Life User's Manuel AKA the Bible.
Matthew 10 19-20
And don't you worry about what you'll say or how you'll say it. The right words will be there; the Spirit of your Father will supply the words. - Matthew 10 19-20
